Healthcare professionals often use shorthand to quickly communicate about health concerns, injuries, recommendations, and treatments – but they sometimes forget that most people aren’t familiar with their abbreviations, leaving patients with unanswered questions. CNA – certified nursing assistant
CSCS – certified strength and conditioning specialist
