Pregnancy

The female body goes through significant changes during pregnancy - changes that can contribute to pelvic issues, various pain syndromes, decreased activity, and difficulty sleeping. While exercise can help manage many of these symptoms, there is no one-size-fits-all program. Every pregnancy is different, and your care should be too.

At Indepth Physical Therapy, we understand how shifts in posture, joint mobility, and body awareness can affect how you move and feel. As experts in core and pelvic health, we provide thoughtful, one-on-one support to help you stay active, manage discomfort, and prepare for delivery. With individualized guidance and safe, tailored exercise progressions, we will help you move through pregnancy with more ease and confidence.

Postpartum

Your body continues to change after giving birth, and the postpartum period brings its own unique challenges. Research shows that up to 60% of postpartum women experience diastasis recti and up to 75% experience pelvic floor dysfunction. While your body begins healing from day one, it’s common for symptoms to persist for months or even years after delivery. These issues are common, but they don’t have to be your new normal.

Indepth Physical Therapy is your safe space to heal - if you're weeks, months, or years postpartum. Whether you're looking to ease pain, address pelvic floor dysfunction, reconnect with your body, or safely return to movement, we’ll meet you where you are with expert, personalized care.

Menopause

The years surrounding menopause can bring a wave of changes - some expected, others surprising. Shifts in hormones can impact everything from sleep and mood to joint health, bone density, and pelvic floor function. It can feel confusing and frustrating, especially with so much conflicting information about how to manage symptoms.

At Indepth Physical Therapy, we help you navigate this transition with clarity and confidence. We’ll take the time to educate you on the physical changes that may occur, including increased health risks, and what you can do to feel your best. From tailored exercise programs that support bone and cardiovascular health to strategies for managing discomfort and improving pelvic floor function, we’ll create a plan that supports your body - both now and for the years ahead.
